The block user – block admin is the level three user, responsible for executing the campaign (as designed by the state admin) with all the schools in their block. They are also directly responsible for taking first action on the school applications.
Block dashboard
The landing page of the block admin’s login is the dashboard that displays block specific updates for the block user, like – event notifications, tasks status, schools application data. Insights from the dashboard helps the block user execute the campaign with all schools in the block.
Review school registration
The block user can review the school registration status for all the schools that have applied for RTE admissions and take action on the same by approving or rejecting their application. Block admin is the first person responsible for taking action on the applications, if they are not able to do, the district admin can perform the same through their login.
Onboarding new schools on the platform
The block admin is directly responsible for onboarding all schools within their block onto the platform. Once the block admin registers the school, the school gets notified and goes on to complete their registration through self-registration.
Searching and viewing registered schools
All schools that have completed their self-registration are available to the block admin for verification of their details on the block admin login.
Mapping schools with location
The block admin can view the mapping selected by each school as per the location set up by the state admin. The block admin is provided this information to ensure no mismatch is done, they can raise the issue with the state admin directly, if such a mismatch is found.
Reviewing reimbursement claims by schools
The block admin is directly responsible for acting (approving/rejecting) the reimbursement claims raised by the schools. Once they approve the same is forwarded to the district admin for further verification.
Reviewing school fees
The block admin can review and make changes to the fee structure.
Student tracking
The block admin will be able to track the status of students’ applications by filtering and searching the student by application number of student name.
Monitoring campaign through reports
The reports section gives access to many reports that the block admin will use to monitor the progress of the schools and students registration status.
Students admission report
The block admin can monitor the progress of student applications in the block and aggregate status of applications by their status category.
School information report
The block admin uses this report to monitor the status of seats distribution by school categories.
School registration report
The school registration report helps the block admin monitor the approval status of schools who have registered on the platform through the approval cycle.
School mapping report
The school mapping report gives a snapshot of the school to location mapping done for each school within the block.
